Deuxième scratch en deux spéciales ce dimanche matin pour Giandomenico Basso au volant de sa Volkswagen Polo GTI R5 au Rally di Roma Capitale.
Le vainqueur 2019, deuxième du général, a repris 1″7 au leader Alexey Lukyanuk (Citroën C3 R5), et pointe désormais à 29″8 au classement global de l’épreuve face au Russe.
Troisième de l’ES8 à 1″8, Oliver Solberg (Volkswagen Polo GTI R5) consolide sa troisième place sur cette première manche de l’ERC 2020, à 49″3 de Lukyanuk, mais avec 20″6 de marge sur Craiga Breena (Hyundai i20 R5), revenu en 4e position face à Simone Tempestini (Skoda Fabia R5).
